Go Kim!!! I love competition between spouses. Sadly my hubby Dwayne would not have a chance against me in a battle of words. Kim, you better grab a dictionary because something tells me it's on!!

My husband and I sometimes try to play {board/video} games against each other for a little fun on a night in... but then it isn't so fun when he keeps winning {and gloating about it!} and I start to get irritated.

So um, yeah... so much for that. Lol.

We can relate! We have been playing Mancala lately and we used to play Cribbage when we were first married. I also would be VERY happy if I could win sometime! But your talk of scrabble makes me think we should try that sometime.

My sister is an artist and is so good at Boggle it is amazing. I think her ability to see thing visually gives her a huge advantage.

I know a lot of vocabulary, but I'm a terrible scrabble player. I've been told that scrabble requires a combination of vocabulary knowledge and strategy. I lack the strategy part. I had a friend when I was a kid who used to beat me all the time at boggle; it was embarrassing how badly I got beaten. In any case, I'm still not very good at those games. I think I was somehow traumatized by my many losses. I'm glad to hear that you two now get the satisfaction of beating up one other via word games :-) I'm sure, you, Kim are happy to have won, and I'm sure you, Fred, are happy to be on your guard for another round.
